So I am writing this at work, which technically mean I am being paid to write this, which makes me fel pretty special. It also adds pressure.
"Pressure makes diamonds" is a saying I stole from the status of a person I am not particularly fond of. I think of it when I throw darts at a picture cut-out I have of her. But in this case what she says isn't all mindless inspirational bull-shit! I have a feeling this post may just turn out to be a diamond.
So have you ever done something that you deeply, deeply regretted? I have, and let me tell you you'll live with that regret until you write a blog post about it.
So what is it, you ask, that I regret? Well, I'll tell you. If you hold your damn horses and quit interrupting! It's not that I regret the friendships that I have lost, or the time with people now passed that I will never be able to reclaim. No. I regret simpler things. I regret a water glass. A stupid and pathetic water glass.... I also regret that I don't have enough time to finish this post and will probably never get back to telling you the story of why I regret a water glass, but I have work to do.
Rememeber, I'm on the clock.
